The series “Law” of the Bulletin of South Ural State University was established in 2001. In 2006 the series was registered as mass media. The series was included in the official “List of leading reviewed scientific journals and publications where had to be published the main results of dissertations” published by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The series has international standard serial number ISSN 1991–9778. The series was included in the Russian Science Citation Index system and regularly provides the information about publications in this system.

The series was included in the data bases of Russian Institute of Science and Technical Information (VINITI). The information about the series has been published annually in Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory system.

The series are sent in the public state libraries and leading universities of Russia.

The series has the periodicity 4 issues per year (February, May, August and November).
