Ensuring the safety of “protected persons” in the cases of crimes committed by the organized groups and criminal associations (criminal organizations)

was born on September 12, 1971. In 2010 he defended a doctorate thesis “Theoretical and applied problems of criminal prosecution of cases involving the crimes committed by organized groups and criminal associations (criminal organizations)”. He is the author of 100 publications. Now he is a professor of the department of Criminal and Legal Subjects of South Ural State University. Research interests: information provision of criminal procedure, the use of the results of operational and investigative activities in averment of criminal cases, ensuring the safety of the participants of criminal proceedings. Abstract

Law enforcement officers have some difficulties connected with the ensuring the safety of the trial participants. The problem of active obstruction of members of the criminal groups providing their involvement in the crime requires more careful consideration of issues of state protection of “protected persons” in criminal procedure.
