was born on May 9, 1958. In 1983 he graduated from
Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2003 he
defended a candidate’s thesis in Mistakes in
qualification of criminally legal actions. At
present he is an associate professor of the Criminal
Law and Criminal Procedure Department of Law and
Finance Faculty of South Ural State University. He
is the author of 60 publications. Research

Abstract |
The article notes the fact that the use of criminal
standards by investigators, prosecutors and judges
is not always the process of thinking during which
cognitive activity of the subjects takes place.
Basic processes of thinking of a subject who uses
criminal standards are analysis and synthesis. |
