was born on June 18, 1949 in Chelyabinsk. In 1994 he graduated from Ural State Law Academy. Now he is a lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Ozerskbranch of South Ural State University, postgraduate student of the Department of History of State and Law of Liberal arts University (Yekaterinburg). Research interests: military development of the Russian Empire in XVII-XIX centuries.

Abstract

The article reveals functional responsibilities of the officials of the Military department in the Russian Empire Armed Forces control during the reign of Nicholas II in accordance with Martial Law of 1840.
