was born on May 9, 1958. In 1983 he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2003 he defended a Candidate’s thesis “Mistakes in determination of criminal and legal actions”. Now he is an Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure of the Faculty of Law and Finance of South Ural State University. Abstract

Criminal and legal measures, which are not state acts of force, but which are based on the action constituting threat or use of state force on the basis of legal norms prescribed by the court, the purpose of which is to prevent committing of socially dangerous acts, are considered in the article.
