The content of criminal procedure theory determination

Author

Tarnavsky Oleg Aleksandrovich was born on December 9, 1974. He graduated from the Law Faculty of Orenburg State Agrarian University in 1997. He defended a candidate thesis «Criminal procedure mechanism of filing and adjudication civil claims in a criminal case». Now he is Vice-Rector for security and procedural and institutional issues of Orenburg State University, Associate Professor of the Criminal Procedure Department of the university. He is author of more than 30 published works. Research interests: protection of freedom and rights of citizens in criminal procedure. E-mail: iens@mail.osu.ru.

The analysis of different views of the scientists on the question of the content of criminal procedure theory determination is made; author's attitude to the basic characteristics of the principles of criminal procedure is given.
